Byron Dragstrip

The Byron Dragway in Byron, Illinois has long been a staple in the area. Every Sunday afternoon during racing season you can here the welcome distant roar of the high octane powered vehicles racing down the track throughout the Rock River Valley. I was able to take these pictures on an October afternoon just before the track closed for the season. Again, I used my 20D and all post work was done Photoshop CS3. I did, however, experiment with HDR on this particular shoot. See the gallery in it’s entirety here: Byron Dragway

Hoisinton Road

Here is a sample of some photos I took during my brief stay in Byron, Illinois. I shot these using a Canon 20D with  35mm f/1.8, 85mm f/1.8 lens. All post production was done nondestructively in Photoshop CS3. You can view the entire gallery here: Hoisington Road
